1.How do I file a FOIL request?

2.Is there a fee for a FOIL reply?

There is a $.25 per page fee for document processing. The fee for maps, color and larger documents can be as much as $5.00 each.

3.When can I expect a response to my FOIL request?

The Law provides for an initial response acknowledging your request within 5 business days of receipt. It may take up to 20 business days to receive the completed response to your request. If your request is extensive, an additional 20 business days may be requested.

4.What if I no longer want to receive a reply to my FOIL request?

If you no longer need the information, please send a cancellation request to FOIL@saratoga-springs.org.
