Saratoga Springs Smart City Commission

In February 2016, Commissioner of Finance Michele Madigan created the Smart City Commission to help set Saratoga Springs on a path to becoming a smarter city and started this process by developing a roadmap which was presented at the October 18, 2016 City Council Meeting.  The Smart City Commission members include relevant stakeholders from the Saratoga School District, Library, Hospital, Skidmore College, Empire State College, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau, several local technology companies, and others. In 2019, the Smart City Commission intends to release an updated roadmap, and will be hosting a "Lunch and Learn" series to educate residents, business owners, and elected officials in Saratoga Springs and neighboring municipalities on Smart City-related topics. Information on the events can be found below.
