The Accounts Department is operating on a limited regular work schedule during the COVID-19 City Emergency Declaration. There are NO “in-person” interactions at this time. Communication is limited to email, mail and cell phone.

Chapter 136 Cabaret, Eating and Drinking, Lodging and Sidewalk Cafe Licensing: Mail applications and fees for renewal applications. Penalties for late filing will be waived. Email with questions.

Special Event Applications: Mail applications and fees. Permits will be issued per NYS Governor Cuomo’s Emergency Directives. Email with your paperwork.

The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for issuing licenses for a variety of things. You will find the applications for the licenses under Forms and Permits.

For those licenses that require insurance, please be advised that the worker’s compensation form (Form No. C-105.2) and the NYS Disability form (Form No. DB-120.1) are not available from the City’s website. These forms are available from your insurance carrier.

Primary elections are usually held yearly in September at 25 polling places in the City of Saratoga Springs. Hours for primaries are noon to 9 p.m.

The general election is held annually the first Tuesday of November. Hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Information on registering, absentee ballots and polling locations are available at the Saratoga County Board of Elections.
