Vacant Structure Registration

In February 2013, the City of Saratoga Springs adopted an ordinance titled "Chapter 222 Vacant Buildings" for the method of identifying and registering vacant buildings while imposing reasonable responsibilities for the property owners.

The following process is required for all vacant structures:

 1.      Register your property annually with appropriate fees
 2.      The Public Safety Dept will contact you to schedule an inspection of your property to insure
          compliance with the New York State Property Maintenance Code
