Please be advised that the Crescent Avenue and East High Street Bridges over I-87 will be closed to all traffic by the Department of Transportation beginning Monday, April 2 through Friday, August 31.
The replacement projects will begin in March, weather permitting, and the new bridges will include wider shoulders to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists. Additionally, the Crescent Avenue onramp to southbound I-87 will be reconfigured to allow westbound Crescent Avenue vehicles to make left turns onto the ramp.
During the closure period, separate signed detour routes will be used for each bridge. Referring to the map below, the Crescent Avenue detour will use Rout 9P and Nelson Avenue, and the East High Street detour will use Malta Avenue, Route 9 and Van Aernem Road.
