The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a collection of transportation projects that utilize federal transportation funds in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady. Public commenting is now available, and submitted comments will provide guidance as to which projects are selected for federal TIP funding.
Saratoga Springs has submitted project proposals to TIP for consideration to receive federal funding. One example, the Missing Links Program, aims to build missing sidewalk links on Caroline Street, Crescent Street, East Avenue, First Street, Grand Avenue, Jefferson Street, Madison Street, Seward Street, State Street, Third Street, Vanderbilt Avenue, and West Fenlon Street.
