Press Release:

Saratoga Springs, NY: Mayor Meg Kelly provides an update on the COVID-19 situation’s impact on City Hall:

On March 13, 2020, Mayor Meg Kelly declared a State of Emergency for the City of Saratoga Springs. The State of Emergency went into effect at 5:30 PM on March 13, 2020, and was to remain in effect for a minimum of five business days and until rescinded by a further order

Due to the fluidity of the situation caused by COVID-19, the City will remain in a State of Emergency after the conclusion of the initial five business days. City Hall will remain closed to the public, and the City’s staff will continue to operate according to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive orders until rescinded by a further order.

It is still of the highest importance that every precaution is taken to ensure the health of the City’s residents and employees. The City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meetings, but the public will not be allowed to attend in person. The public is encouraged to email Mayor Kelly’s office at meg.kelly@saratoga-springs.org with any questions or comments they would like to have entered into the record. City Council meetings will be live-streamed through our website and our Facebook page.
